We finally had our Windows Vista demo! I, for one, am impressed and a little frightened by Vista. It is pretty neat, even if some of the features appear to be GUI-oriented fluff, and some of the security features seem to be a true improvement. Nevertheless, I wonder and worry about how my software and peripherals will behave when I upgrade.
Thanks again to Brad Shoaf from Universal Information Systems for taking the time to come out and give us the demonstration!
If you’d like more information about Vista, Microsoft has a number of video demos on its web site: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/windows/en-us/demos.mspx.

A topic is still up in the air for our December 5 meeting. If anyone has suggestions, please email me at leonard@rmu.edu. The meeting is, as usual, from 8 am – 9:30 am. We will be meeting at Achieva once again.
