Rose told us about this at our August meeting and sent me the instructions for where to find this setting:

Word 2003:

  1. Go to Tools > Options > Security tab > Privacy Options
  2. Look for check box that says “Warn before printing, saving, or sending a file that contains tracked changes or comments” and check it

Word 2007:

  1. Click the Office button (that new round thing in the uppermost left)
  2. At the bottom of the menu that appears, look for a separate button called Word Options
  3. Click the Trust Center tab
  4. Click the Trust Center Settings… button
  5. Click the Privacy Options tab
  6. Look for checkbox that says “Warn before printing, saving, or sending a file that contains tracked changes or comments” and check it
